The Lodge
With over 3,200 square feet of space, this lodge is the perfect getaway for large groups or families that need a little more space. With 3 living areas, 16 beds throughout the 6 fully furnished bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, and 2 large dining tables, there is a place for everyone. The 2 downstairs living areas have televisions streaming Hulu, Disney+, and ESPN, and WIFI is available throughout the property. There is a private suite area downstairs that includes one of the living areas, bedrooms 1 & 2, and bathroom 1. Bedrooms 3 & 4 each have their own bathrooms en suite. Bedrooms 5 & 6 are upstairs and share bathroom 4. Bedroom 5, with 4 twin beds, also includes a seating area and a door opening to the upper deck.
With a large kitchen, bar area, and 2 refrigerators you will have plenty of space to entertain. The kitchen is fully equipped with appliances, pots and pans, and utensils, but no food, spices, or condiments are provided. Dish soap, hand soap, paper towels, toilet paper, bath towels, and bed linens are provided. There is an air conditioned laundry room with a washer, dryer, the 2nd refrigerator and a game table.
The house is directly on the Colorado River with plenty of deck space to fish & crab, or just hang out and grill. There is a green light for night fishing and a variety of fish to catch – everything from black drum, redfish, trout, and many other species. There is a fish cleaning station on the deck to clean your haul.
Catch a beautiful sunset from the picnic tables on the upper deck. The beach access is just a little over a mile down the road, or you can go a little farther and visit the Nature Center, the pier, and the jetties. There are bait shops, Dollar General, Stanley’s convenience store, locally owned restaurants and shops to find anything you need for your stay. There are also numerous places to launch your boat along the river and at the harbor.
